another productive day

We started with cleaning, music practice, etc. today. Followed that up with some reading and maths workbook pages for Abbie while Anna did some more division with remainder practice on the Eduss maths software.

Mollie is in that better but still spotty phase of chickenpox so she came round for most of the day today, and all the kids did hama beads together for ages, we baked, did some more of our weaving, and then took Anna to cello lessons and played in the park. I spent a while gathering Ancient Greek links and (ahem) shopping for resources – ordered the Horrible Histories ‘Groovy Greeks’ on CD as well as a couple of other things.

This evening has been frustrating – I have some random spammer commenting on the blog, and the party plan online ordering system for FF seems to be broken. I’m giving up and going to watch Wifeswap (well, okay, that was the plan all along …!) .

    Following on from that – my friend is dithering between the roller coaster run, and the smaller suspension one – is there a big difference, do you know? It’s hard to tell from pix in the catalogue

    I noticed Red House have 10 Horrible Histories for £10 the other day- very tempting…..

    I could have a lot of fun with wordpress categories i think! What did we do today.. numeracy, literacy, IT – all without leaving the computer!

    Well, just an order for you – when I can get everyone to make their mind up – is that what you mean? But I was just wondering how to go about placing the order with you?

    Just thinking about this more – as you do :-) . I THOUGHT you meant when you said that the on line ordering was broken, that you had set one up for ordering from you – but did you mean that that it was FF system that was down, so YOU couldn’t place an order?? Anyway, I’m gathering an order that is standing at about £50 atm, with a couple of people still deciding about marble runs – so if you let me know how you want the order, that would be great- if its not enough to make it worth your while though, as I don’t know what the costs of you getting it here would be, then no problem, I’ll just mail order it – I’ll still do it as one order so we don’t have to pay multiple deliveries. So either way I’ll be collecting the money and dishing them out when it arrives, so it’s no hassle for me either way. Does that make sense now? :-)
