Hmm, maybe I worked them too hard …
This was the scene while I was cooking tea this evening. They did play for a nice long time with everyone who was around after school time, but then for some reason me being in the kitchen gives them the green light for getting colouring pencils out all over the place and finishing the stuff they started this morning. Anna has stuck all her paintings from yesterday into her book and is quite proud of the collection. Abbie did some lovely joined up writing so she was pleased, too.

On closer inspection, the third child at the other end of the breakfast bar had given up completely …

Joe has recovered and had some tea, now probably will be bouncing off the walls this evening. Steve has had a dig this evening, he says blogging three times in one day and then commenting on my own posts is no different than talking to myself, and I must be going mad. He’s probably not far from the truth

You talk away, Sarah. I thought going mad was in the job description. Must help, anyway. Gorgeous photos too.
