I’ve got an old one you can have if you want I nearly killed it earlier this summer making hummus, but it pulled through with only the faintest of burning smells. What did you have in it? And was it as dramatic/potentially fatal as Joyce’s blender moment?
I did, thank goodness, have the lid on it. It didn’t implode, just ground to a halt, strange smell and some puffs of smoke from the motor, and that was it. So not too messy.

The brazils had soaked overnight, but it was still a bit too much for it.

Yes, mine was a real attention seeking moment. I don’t think they like nuts or frozen things
