just another morning here

Wanted to ‘blog this photo’ … it’s the bags under the eyes that stand out to me!

We had a fab couple of days staying with friends this week – the children are completely tired out and we are too – had a frustratingly slow journey home and cancelled our poker evening!

This morning I already feel as though we’ve done a day’s work, running around to lessons of various sorts. Now the kids are racing around the close with the neighbours, using up every last remnant of yesterday’s snow, and having a whale of a time doing it.

Came home to find that our small stick insects have moulted so they’ve been upgraded to the big cage, and another egg has hatched so there’s a new baby. Speaking of insects, I’m a bit annoyed that the first episode ‘Life in the Undergrowth’ hasn’t been teleported as I was hoping it would be – did anyone record it?
