Dragon’s Den

November 29th, 2005 by Sarah

Fascinating show, obviously up Steve’s street, so we’ve been enjoying watching the programme over the past couple of weeks. Steve fancies himself as one of the dragons and likes to predict what deals they will suggest, and is scarily accurate. Shame he hasn’t got lots of money, really, eh?! ;) Next programme is on tonight, 8pm ;)

Almost links nicely with the third Jesse tree instalment – the picture’s of an apple and a snake, to represent the fall in the garden of Eden.

Nothing much else to report – kids have written letters to Santa yesterday and today (funny how they suddenly believe in Santa again at times like that!) which were supposed to help us with birthday ideas for Abigail but unfortunately she’s written ‘Dear Santa, I would like a Busted CD and I don’t mind what I have, love from Abbie’. No help whatsoever! Any ideas? Of course she really wants a puppy but she’s out of luck, and hasn’t bothered asking – wise girl ;) She also sat and wrote three invitations to a birthday tea, which she did beautifully.

Writing letters to Santa

Right. Off to do the ironing and hope for some inspiration.

Hannah still seems to believe, but if pushed for what she woudl like, just says “oh I always get something nice. Santa can choose.” So no help there at all. She’s like a puppy as well, but we told her when she was about three that Santa never brings live animals, so she doesn’t bother to ask either.
