just another morning here

On Sunday we travelled down to my sister’s house where we stopped for a BBQ with my family and our last night. It was Dad & Lorraine’s wedding anniversary (although we missed Dad, who was in France), as well as being Miriam’s birthday in a few days, and also Caleb and Elodie’s birthdays a bit later in the month too, so there was plenty of present-swapping going on.

We had way too much lovely food, and the day spent together was great as well.

Later on the children watched Dr Who then took the easy option of sleeping on beds in the house. We watched The Island (which I need to watch again, as predictably I fell asleep!), and then took the easy option of sleeping in the van - easier for Steve who was sniffing and sneezing due to cat allergy, and easier for me because by the time I got up, Mim had already done breakfast with the kids!

Home and back to earth with a bump this afternoon.
