Another nice thing from yesterday …
Thanks for all the comments about Anna’s cello exam - she was so amazed that she cried when we told her the results! And we’re really proud of her, obviously 
Something else that was lovely … yesterday I had a ‘discuss the school report’ parent’s evening with Joe’s teacher, which, in the main, was nothing special. His report was great, but didn’t tell us much we didn’t already know!
However, one comment that she made did make me feel all glowy - she commented that it was noticeable how close the three children are, and that whenever they see one another around school they will be demonstrative and hug each other or make an effort to sit near each other, that sort of thing. Which I thought was nice, I’m glad that being in school hasn’t changed the closeness between them.

What a lovely thing for her to mention, it must really stand out. Once a home educator, always a home educator, I reckon.. whether or not school becomes parts of the children’s lives. And belated congrats to Anna on the exam result too!

Yeah, I think it’s more unusual with a brother though … well that’s how I understood it, anyway! Actually I imagine Anna and Abbie probably aren’t demonstrative with one another much at all but Josiah is another matter
