Weekend catchup
Lack of blogging reflects general holiday club induced exhaustion!
Saturday - Robyn was with us for the day. In an effort to be productive I wrote myself a long ‘to do’ list and got through most of it, including baking, a huge ironing pile, and general houseworky stuff.
We’re still on guinea pig duty so enjoyed spending longer than usual in our friends’ garden (it’s bigger and nicer than ours!) on Saturday, until Fluffy weed on Abigail, who was incensed and outraged at this (the rest of us thought it was pretty funny
), so she walked home in a huge huff!
Today has been busy; I got to church around 9am to set up our Pyramid Rock stuff for a holiday club ‘finale’ type service, followed by a barbecue for everyone. Then had to take it all down again a few hours later and ship it all elsewhere afterwards.
Came home and crashed for a while then went out to Wagamama for a meal with everyone who’d helped with holiday club, so that was nice. Still feel completely knackered though!
Looking forward to seeing more friends this week and also whipping our solicitors into action, I’ve had enough of the patient approach as it blatantly doesn’t work. It wasn’t until I rang up ‘to see how things were going’ that they told me there were things holding up the process - how would I be able to do anything about it if they hadn’t told me?! I despair!
