McDaddy’s

May 12th, 2006 by Sarah

Got home from swimming last night with Abbie and Joe to find our kitchen ‘transformed’ into McDaddy’s restaurant!

Steve had been to Sainsbury’s while we were out, as well as doing the shopping he had been charged with getting something for tea and this was what we ended up with! Organic beefburgers were delicious :)

The kids thought it was brilliant :) Steve, as usual, not so impressed with having his photo taken for the blog ;)

The rest of the time Anna’s been away has been relatively quiet as predicted. After school on Wednesday Joe had a haircut (drastic number 2 all over, his choice!), then we had tea out together before a violin lesson for Josiah and the excitement of watching a car go through the auction for Abbie.

Have contemplated giving one of the children away this week, as it’s been so easy to just have two, from splitting up and having one each to look after, to booking holidays (do they not know that a family does not necessarily mean 2+2?!!), to buying packs of 4 beefburgers (why does everything come in packs of 4, eh?!), but I can’t really decide which one, so we’ll have to keep them all ;)

Really looking forward to seeing Anna and hearing about how she got on at the end of school today :)

I spend half my life buying things in combinations that can be divided equally by 6 – it makes for a lot of donuts on occasions!

Nice pic of Steve, but of course we *really* need one of Joe and his crucial new haircut!!

Cookies come in packs of 5 :)

  4. Merry Says:

Yes, and you can imagine how many we have to buy to divide those up equally!

any excuse to eat more cookies ;)

  6. Steve Says:

Obviously 2 packs (leaving 4 spare to eat after the kids are in bed)

I don’t know about you but we find it doesn’t matter which two it is either but always 2 is easier not to mention quieter than 3! We do OK with the food though as DH mostly doesn’t eat what we do so its only 4 of us to feed!

Well there’s only 4 of us so packs of 4 would be OK if I weren’t such a faddy eater. Rog loves getting my cake as well as his!
