Brief interlude between guests
We’ve spent the weekend so far trying to get the house straight before the next lot of friends come to stay – I’m not quite sure we’re going to make it, but we’ll try!
Yesterday we had Robyn with us; I really had forgotten how tricky it is to get anything done with a 15mo around all the time! Or perhaps, how tricky it is in a house that is really not geared up for a 15mo to be left unsupervised in! Thankfully I had my kids around and they are very good at keeping Robyn occupied, or at least keeping an eye on what she’s fiddling with. We went to Sainsbury’s in the morning, then Josiah had a party to go to in the afternoon, during which we went and trawled charity shops for a few toddler toys, as I’d stupidly got rid of most of ours in the last house move! Found a couple of games/puzzles so that was successful and Robyn really enjoyed playing ‘Who Knows Whose Nose’ with the girls when we got home.
So anyway, it was a nice day, we got a few things tidied up, then relaxed in the evening and watched a film with the children (The Brothers Grimm, didn’t think much of it tbh but there we go). Hopefully the rest will happen today, preferably before Ros & Tony arrive!

Glad you’re having a good time with all your friends coming through. We just found out that Nigel and Liz were staying with Steve and Tammi Beegoo Friday and Saturday nights, but didn’t managed to see them.
15mo sprogs? Now THERE is a scary thought!
