Harvest Time

October 9th, 2006 by Sarah

Apologies for the absolutely rubbish photos (must have had a setting wrong somewhere) but here’s Joe picking a squash from our garden to take into school for the Harvest Festival today, and Abbie reading a poem in the KS2 assembly this morning.

Note Abigail’s hanging-out t-shirt, everyone else looked so smart, but I don’t really care ;)
I’m home in the break between the two assemblies, about to head back for the KS1 version … oh joy!

    Great pic of Abbie :-)

How do you get past the photo-ban in schools or does yours allow them?
J and M’s old school used to allow, not sure about the new one, although the kids aren’t even allowed camera-phones in school so I’m supposing its a ‘no’…

Well they said still cameras are allowed in special assemblies a while back, and a staff member was taking photos so i figured it was ok. Our lot are allowed phones but they have to be switched off the whole school day, they’re only supposed to be for travelling emergencies. Anna’s never having a phone, not while she’s at primary school anyway, but don’t get me started on that!
