Another Egg-speriment
November 28th, 2006 by Sarah
Anna’s science homework this week was to design a parachute that could prevent an egg from breaking when dropped … as usual left until the last minute (not that she had any other minutes in which to do it) as it is due in tomorrow morning – we tested it and it just about worked (well the shell had a crack in it but the egg didn’t break and go everywhere, so I consider that almost successful!), although I’m not sure if the egg box basket is a legal part of the design! Not sure of the height she was supposed to drop it from either, but never mind

We didn’t have any eggs – mad rush to shop on way to school this morning!

We had to do this at some point at school, either sixth form or early Uni to encourage team building, we had to drop ours from a second floor window! The basket is definitely legal though I’m sure, it does the intended job, what more can they ask?! Cool pix

lol Ruth, I didn’t know they had to take eggs in! Apparently Anna’s class didn’t test theirs today after all in any case as Mr Willis was having teeth out!
