‘Sort out the lounge’ day

October 26th, 2007 by Sarah

Actually this turned into a pyjama day, for the children at least. Wished I could have stayed in mine too but Mr Riverford was due to arrive and I rather like him, so figured I really ought to get up!

We had a very slow start, and didn’t do much sorting out at all really, more like watching tv and playing tetris … until late morning when I finally did sort out the bureau and packed up the bookshelves. We’re painting a couple of walls in the lounge tomorrow, hence the organisation.

Anna finished her cross stitch bracelet, and I can’t really remember what the other two did!

Tonight we went out for dinner with friends. Anna went for a sleepover with my sister at the university, meaning she felt very grown up. The other two stayed here with Grandma & Grandpa but it sounds like they’re going to be treated to a day at Crealy with Grandma tomorrow, to help look after Robyn, so that will be fun for them.

lol My Mr Riverford, who is actually Mr Rivernene insists on standing on my doorway and chatting for ages about everything if I answer the door, he then kind of waits expectantly for me to say something, and when I don’t, just says something else rather than go away! I have been known to hide and ignore him so he just leaves my box in the porch.
