just another morning here

It’s 4.30am and I can’t sleep – typical! Still, then it got me thinking that I was similarly awake this time nine years ago, yes, NINE. Seems like yesterday. And that’s my second daughter we’re talking about. She has been really excited all week and we have some nice things going on today so I’m sure I’ll post again before the weekend is out.

Back to the title of the post though. When I had Anna, I ended up chucking away the nightie I wore when I gave birth. So for Abbie’s birth I devised a cunning plan, and wore a Sony Ericsson (I’m sure it was Sony Ericsson, but were they around 9 years ago?) promotional t-shirt that I wouldn’t have worn anywhere otherwise. When I had Josiah, I’m fairly sure I wore an Autotrader t-shirt which, similarly, I wouldn’t have been seen dead in! Now, the other day I was given a rather nice Apple promotional t-shirt which, equally, I probably won’t wear. That got me wondering if I should have another baby just so that I can put it to good use (probably not the best reason in the world!), or is there someone else out there who wants it? Also wondering whether I am completely crazy to even have planned and now be talking about what I wore to give birth!

As it nears 5am, I can hear that I am not the only one awake in this household. We said no presents before 7am, I wonder if they will be able to wait that long.
