Sunshine in January

January 27th, 2008 by Sarah

We had a busy morning of comings and goings with various children needing transport to and from various places so I didn’t get to church, but it was a nice morning nonetheless. We managed to fit in some hard drive smashing and a few games of pizza fractions with Joe before any of that!

At lunchtime, once we had regrouped after all the kids’ activities, we decided to go and meet the cousins at Killerton for a walk, because it was such a lovely day. Slight trauma when Anna realised she hadn’t dried her wellies since they got soaked on New Year’s Day, so she went walking in her normal boots and got them soaked as well  . Oh well, never mind.

The guinea pigs have been out on the lawn this weekend for the first time in ages, although it’s still a bit muddy really – nice for them to be out of the hutch for a longer stretch of time though.

Anyway. Off to get some tea and start bathtime and bedtime, needs to be an early one as both girls had sleepovers last night – an ironic name, I find, as there seems to be little sleep at these things and quite a lot of chatting! Still, they haven’t been too grumpy today, in fact it has been a pleasant weekend all round :)
