Caching in Paignton

July 25th, 2008 by Sarah

It was Josiah’s turn for a trip out yesterday, he came with me to meet a friend in Torbay for some geocaching. Actually it felt as though we spent more time looking for toilets for Joe than for geocaches, but there we go! My best trip to date – found four out of the four caches we looked for, *and* did a bonus virtual cache.

And, as you can see, despite being out walking miles last night, I have still woken up way too early for the holidays!

Talking to my friends FIL last night about caching. He’s made two very interesting ones that I’d never be able to find! One you have to wait for low tide for and then it just gives you the next set of co ordinates and the other is a button magnet. I’m very close to getting my own GPS as I like the idea of a hunt :-)

I’ve found a couple of button magnet ones now, they are very tricky!
