Oxfordshire Thursday

July 31st, 2008 by Sarah

Catching up, finally! Got up and, erm, played Guitar Hero ;)

We decided to mooch around Abingdon this morning, which didn’t take very long! The girls both managed to find nice things in the sales though. We did a multi-cache around the town centre which amused us for a while, then we went off to get some lunch.

Afterwards we drove up to Boar’s Hill for another cache, which was a nice walk as well. Photos will appear when I get home, they’re on the wrong camera.

From there we went to visit an old school friend of mine, who bizarrely has moved into my parents’ old house! So that was nice and strange all at the same time. Have come back to Adam & Mim’s early today and are chilling out in front of tv etc. before they get back from work.

Thought this (click on it to see it bigger, on a strange computer I couldn’t manage to work out how to put a bigger one here) made a nice wordy representation of our week away, taken from the blog front page – I like these things, as you know! But I obviously use the word ‘went’ too much

Hi sweetie, when are you back?

I like it also and actually I like the look of the word ‘went’- seems to work nicely.

I imagine that was very strange being in your friends house today- not sure how I’d get on with that scenario.
