New Year’s Day 2009

January 2nd, 2009 by Sarah

Actually didn’t spend all of NYD playing AC (that would be too much even for me) but instead at Steve’s parents. Had a very pleasant day, ate far too much, and exchanged gifts. They gave me a lovely signed, framed Simon Drew print, and got us all tickets for the panto tonight, cool.

Finishing up the custard Abbie and Robyn Lola Chocolate decisions
Wriggly Cousins Robyn's present He is the Stig CD for Grandpa

Am currently waiting for children to get ready to go out. Legend has it that they all want to go into town but they are not exactly rushing, yawn! Think I am going to have to do a Sally-style ‘practice getting up at school time’ in the next couple of days!

Yeah, I dragged Violet out of bed at 9.30 today – she’s been nearer midday for most of the holidays. Think we will all need a bit of practice ;-)

I love Simon Drew – quite impressive that he is still coming up with new stuff, as he’s been producing them for so long! Do you remember that shop in the Covered Market that had loads of his cards?

Happy New Year anyway :) (Think C took a photo of Anidori by the HNY sign by the town hall :) ) Hope we get to see you soon ….
