Mmm, ice cream
Last night Steve and I thought we’d go out on a late night adventure. In actual fact we were still in bed by 11pm, but it felt exciting to us, anyway!
After a boring evening filled with a bit of housework, kids all finally in bed, we were just sitting around watching TV when an ice cream advert came on. Totally sucked in by the advertising, somehow we decided to go out and buy some. Sainsbury’s was closed, so it had to be Tesco’s as that’s open all night. It’s also cunningly close to a nearby ‘premium members’ cache that I’ve had on my list for ages but wasn’t a premium member until a very kind person bought me a gift subscription to Groundspeak to celebrate my 200 caches!
Nothing’s ever simple; we couldn’t find the cache, which was meant to be easy. After a good 15 mins of searching I finally spotted it on the ground behind the fence where it should have been, but I couldn’t reach in far enough to retrieve it. Took a photo as well as I could, by torchlight, through a fence, on the iPhone, then carried on to Tesco’s.
Actually it was a useful trip as we had to find a birthday present for Josiah, which we did as well. Then home to wrap it up and eat ice cream

Oooh, you crazy youngsters!
C has only just gone to work today, so 30 minutes ago we were amazon shopping for Gwenny’s birthday
Her birthday list starts “bike lock, bike lights, bike water bottle, ….” lol!

I can’t cope with the excitement!
Does sound fun. Now a cache in Sainsbury’s….. I’m still making Boo’s gifts! Her main gift has cost so much money we’ve nowt left for anything else. It’s fun though!

Joe didn’t really know what he wanted so that made things harder. He’s got a week at Laser Camp as his main present but that seemed slightly negated by Anna ending up with a music camp over the summer, not as a present at all. [I know, I know, different children at different stages, but still] So we wanted to get him something decent to open on the day as well, managed to find something he’s eyed up a few times before now and I’ve always said no to, so hopefully it will make him happy
