We were going to be exciting …

June 12th, 2009 by Sarah

… but then we decided we were too tired and couldn’t be bothered. One spontaneous trip out in an evening per week is obviously enough! We’d planned to head down to Party on the Quay (the opening night of the Exeter Festival) but then once we’d all got home from work/school, had a violin lesson and been to kids’ club, we realised we were all exhausted, and would rather veg out in front of a film.

We chose Inkheart, which the children are very much enjoying; I’m sitting in front of it doing my own thing as per usual, and Steve is asleep. Also as per usual. Oh well, at least we’re all on the same sofa. I’m blog fiddling; have upgraded WordPress to 2.8 … I do like the way you can search the plugin and theme directories from your own blog now, that’s quite nice :)

We really wanted to go too but Riona was shattered after Taw Bottom so we didn’t bother. Next year. (I keep saying that!).
