Paying Homage to a Crumble

October 2nd, 2009 by Sarah

Yesterday while I was to-ing and fro-ing between school, cello lesson, evensong and parents evening, and celebration evening (also luckily in the cathedral), Abbie stayed at home and made the most delicious rhubarb crumble ever. We have just eaten the leftovers for breakfast!

She’d picked up the recipe card in Sainsbury’s ages ago and it had taken me ages to get round to buying rhubarb for it (I kept hoping we’d get some in our veg box!), but finally did this week. It was totally gorgeous. Plus I think that Abbie is wonderful for being sensible enough to leave at home making a crumble in the first place – and she tidied up the kitchen afterwards!

Could you possibly post the recipe for the crumble? I’d love to try and make it- but being in America would have a hard time finding the Sainsbury’s recipe.
