Steve voluntarily taking part in an activity involving water! Admittedly, by staying in the Canadian Canoe and not taking his turn in the kayak, he stayed dry, unlike the rest of us who are so rubbish at paddling that we were soaked to the skin within minutes. “Lookout for the zigzaggers!” we heard some experienced canoeists call out at one point – and they weren’t far wrong! And the kids were pretty unhelpful really, Steve and I did all the work! But hey, it was fun. And we found the numbers we were looking for
