Or at least, I must be old, as I have a teenager for a daughter. All parents of teens are old, right?!

Anna’s currently picking her way through a new music book that we gave her, which she’d wanted for ages. I may regret buying it for her as she tends to sing along – then again she can sound quite nice these days really!
She took a few friends out for a meal last night, then had films and a sleepover here, and a day in town shopping today. There are benefits to having your birthday fairly soon after Christmas, it seems, as she had loads of giftcards and money to spend, so has had a very lovely day!
What does that make me, the mother of an adult?
er, I’d better not answer that, Karen!
Yes, parents of teenagers are old… teenagers know that. But fortunately, when the teenagers turn into adults, the parents become middle-aged, while grandparents become old.
aha, great answer
Thats a really pretty top/tunic thing, wheres it from? Anywhere that does grown up sizes?! And I am hoping that all parents of teenagers aren’t old, I have 2 years, I’ll only be 35 *sob* !
Breathe…. how can there be so many teenage children among them all already? I can remember us all shaking our heads at having 10 yr olds not five minutes ago!!!!
Er, not sure. New Look I think, but she probably bought it in the teen section. Then again the biggest teen size there fits me!
and I’m only 34, for another couple of months anyway!
Happy Birthday Anna
C and R shop in Generation 9-15 although Caitlin is more-or-less an adult’s size 8 now so we just go for women’s shops.
So does that mean I’m young as I’ve got a 2 year old and no teenagers?
I’ve just registered in the META bit in the bottom right hand corner of your blog thinking it might enable me to set up by my own blog, but I’ve no idea what I’ve done except got a new screen layout and still no closer to creating my own blog. Any help in this direction appreciated – I can just about master Facebook and even that is a bit of a mystery.
