just another morning here

I think we’ll have to visit these particular friends on Shrove Tuesday more often – the pancakes were wonderful!

We’d squeezed just about enough time during half term for a 24h visit, and it was fab to see one another – just enough time for lazing around, films and games for the children, and lots of chatting and cups of tea for the grown ups. Curry last night was great, as well as this morning’s brunch. I especially liked the choc chip pancakes Flipping video is here

We’re now home for the rest of a busy week; my sister is staying and we have various other things happening which I’ll write about as the week goes on!
