just another morning here

Quoting Anna, who wrote this ‘for my blog’ after a couple of days away – punctuation all hers, and I especially liked the film sound effect in the middle

Friday, arrived 7pm, got there, got cold, and went to bed around 10ish.

Woke up Saturday, had breakfast (yummy) and went outside to play. And got wet! (ur … dew). It was fun, we ate something yummy and you can guess what that was! (s-w-e-e-t-s!).

Then Sunday we got ready to go to the Wildlife and Dinosaur Park! It was great and I am about to tell you about what happened then (dun dun dur!!!)

When we got there we went to the dinosaur museum and listened to the bug extravaganza, it was cool! They had giant stick insects! They were even more cool!!!! And they had a Chilean Rose Spider!!!!!!!

Shall I blog from here on Sarah’s behalf? Had a nice dinner last night and the semi-decorated front room was well used for two films on the big screen Kids went off to sleep eventually but were all up pretty early this morning.

Lazed about this morning listening to the radio (Tintin and The Horse and His Boy), hamaing and Gamecubing, before heading off into town on the highly-expensive bus (will never moan about our bus prices again!). Went to the museum for a Leonardo da Vinci themed free workshop – Anna, Abbie and Gwenny did quill and ink drawings, Gwenny drew a Mona Lisa and Buttercup made a random collage.

C wandered the museum with Violet, Ernest and Josiah. Met L from Wild Flowers there with her three Peas, so that was nice to see her again, it’s been ages since Okehampton! Met Steve for lunch and went to a nice cafe. After that the kids requested a spending spree (well, Anna did, mine didn’t know what that meant lol!) so we obliged with various games, books and a visit to Poundland.

Now home and playing with our spoils
