Sunday
Sunday, April 6th, 2003Today has been very spiritual. The girls wanted to go to our church meeting this morning, so we went, despite the fact that I would have preferred to stay at home and carry on planting in our pots. Joe spent the day with Grandma & Grandpa, Steve was at work most of the day. After lunch the girls went off to a friend’s birthday party at Bicton, meanwhile I went to take part in a Service for Remembrance and Sharing at the Hospital Chapel. This was to remember babies lost through miscarriage, stillbirth or neonatal death, so it was never going to be sweetness and light, but I was surprised by how emotional I got – partly seeing other people’s pain and partly remembering our own lost babies. Anyway, I managed to pass on a few leaflets and posters for the support group which was good, and chatted to a few key people too so that was positive too.
Now we’re watching the Brazilian Grand Prix where it’s chucking down with rain so very interesting. That reminds me, I must water the garden!
